The order in which directory results are displayed when browsing and through performing searches is determined by using a system of Priority Points. The greater the number of Priority Points a listing has, the higher up in the search results it will be shown. Visitors to the directory will see higher priority listings before others.

How can I get my listing shown higher in search results?

All free listings are given the same Priority Point score. Only paid listings can be assigned a higher priority. Please contact us to upgrade any free listings.

Terms and Conditions

In order to have any link accepted into the directory you must first agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The website to be linked to is focussed on the activities of and belongs to a UK business.
  2. The website to be linked must not participate or otherwise promote the following activities:
    • Pornography
    • Illegal drugs
    • Copyright infringement
    • Any other illegal or fraudulent activity
    • Link farming
  3. Websites found to contravene any of the above terms and conditions at any time may be removed from the UK Business Index website without prior notice and without any refunds of monies paid during link submission.
  4. Submission is not a guarantee of acceptance. Any paid submissions that we deem are not suitable for inclusion and beyond our ability to bring to standard will be refunded.
